Would you like an iPhone App that has the Rave ISO PDF's?

So back when I owned my BMW 330Ci, I made an iPhone app that was basically a PDF reader and had a full workshop manual. It proved popular amongst BMW 330Ci owners and meant the information was to hand.

The Rave ISO is some 600mb of PDF's, so the IPA download would be large and installation would require iPhone users to be jailbroken with "AppSync Unified" installed in order to install the IPA directly.

Would anyone be interested in this for the Freelander? (and whatever other models are covered in the Rave ISO I downloaded)

no legit app stores would accept such copyright infringement, so that route is gone.

Hence the jailbroken requirement.

Although I could of course add devices to my developer account which would allow to the IPA to be installed via iTunes (you would need to download a developer profile to the phone first) but numbers are of course limited.

tbh, all you are doing is making the ux prettier as you can just xfer the files over and use a normal pdf reader :)

Exaca-tree! It's pretty basic, if no ones bothered that cool, I just thought I'd ask as like I say, I made one one a BMW forum and some 150+ downloaded it... was just offering "because I can" really :)

I would but don't fancy jailbreaking my device :(

Well, since the demand isn't too high, I may add a few to my developer account. That way no jailbreak is required, only a Developer Profile which you download and install, then you can sync the IPA via iTunes without issue.

The developer profile basically just tells your phone its part of a developer team, and can install any app "signed" by that developers certificate
