y'awl remeber the pertition about making all rambler wave a red flag? well tony has answered it. here is his reply

Read the Government's response

The Government has no plans to introduce legislation to force all ramblers/walkers to wave a red flag when walking on a public road.
The Highway Code gives guidance for walkers/ramblers when walking on the road, including the use of high visibility clothing. However, the Government believes that the use of high visibility clothing should remain a matter for individual choice rather than become a legislative requirement.
 
aye seems they dint give a **** , but then we already knew that, still it keeps the cabbages occupied ;)
 
aaahhh, so that's why they all wear red cagoules - an i fougt it were cause they're all tossers.

Did amuse me though that we can now waste the governments time and money ourselves rather than them having to commision reports to be able to do it.
 
ffs they dunt do any good .. all they do is to fool fools into thinking the gov pays any attention to what the public want
 
Its Possible thay the government have just found a norther way of wasting more cash with pointless bureaucracy!
