hi can anyone help me out here i could cry just over a wk ago i had to have my p38 decoded as it refused to start since then it has started fine until today i went out and she will turn over but refuses to start i have been told by a garage i can remove the radio reciever? can you tell me more about this and how i do it. look forward to your reply thanks.she is a p38 diesel bmw engine

the rf box is under the shelf on the drivers side of your car. take the one wire plug off, but you will need tro be close to that window to open your car..

If your car is turning over OK, then the battery is not being flattened by the RF receiver.

I suspect your starting problem is elsewhere.

I agree, weak battery giving low cranking speed or loss of synch between the engine ECU and BECM.
