Maybe, though I don't think that a Tdi needs any extra cooling... in fact they are usually over-cooled already anyway.
 
Get them to qualify their claims. If the core is the same shape, size, and thickness of a stock one then how can it be more efficient?
 
Got my rad this morning from that ebay site you mentioned.

It's the dogs bollocks and came next day at 0900 hrs, cant say fairer than that.

Anyway it's on now and looks bloody great, it also has a brass bleed stopper on top instead of the silly plastic one, you get the brass one off with an allen key.

Everything fit and it keeps the engine well cool as it should do, cost me 103 pounds delivered.

Sorted.;)
