I am having trouble with my rangie and so far not found anything that helps.

To start with my gear selector snapped. Oh well I bought another one, no big deal I thought. Bought one on ebay.

After fitting the new selector it felt like a stick in a bucket. It wobbled in gear and all the gears shifted up and to the left. For example fifth was above where 3rd used to be. In first the stick would hit the surround.

I bought another one and that felt a bit tighter, but the gears are still in the wrong place?

+1, try turning the gearstick 180 degrees where it bolts on to the remote.

Thats the one. Cheers guys. I must have put the knob back on the wrong way when I took it off.
