Hi all have been battling oil leaks with a truck new to me and have recently done the T seals. Whilst cleaning the mess up I noticed my bell housing was cracked and a chunk missing by the starter. I Doug a little deeper and found I had no bolts sorta from 8-4 o'clock

I've got a second hand bell housing on its way but can anybody shed any light on what bolts I may be missing and their sizes and locations ?

Thanks in advance :)

Interesting... I'd got the part numbers from the sticky, but as always I'd bow to your superior knowledge

Cheers guys seems odd to be missing all the studs, there's only one in there so assumed the rest to be bolts.

So looks like 9no studs and 9 flange nuts needed ?

Planning to also remove the flywheel housing to re seal against the block with new rear main seal and clutch while I'm down there. Any other jobs worth doing while the box is off ?

Cheers

if its been off a few times the stud often comes out with the nut and after a couple of times theres little thread of the stud gripping in the flywheel housing, unless you fit the studs properly each time by first removing nut then locking 2 nuts on the end of stud and spannering up ensure you get rear main oil seal gasket and oe or genuine seal luf100430g its not unkown for pattern seals to leak and housing warp

Cheers James, what's the pitch of the threads and will pick up a tap in the week just I case its stripped out ?
