Hi All,

I recently bought that Dinitrol "large car" kit off amazon. It comes with all the bottles, a gun for use with the compressor, and a short length of tube with a brass end.

My question it - shouldn't there be some fancy "fan pattern" spray nozzle on the end of this tube to enable the spray to get everywhere in the chassis? Is this yet another thing I need to order?

my first spray job will be the underside of the fuel tank to create a barrier between it and the support cradle - luckily I dont need to tubing peice for that.

On the ones I have the long flexible tube with the brass does that. I have one with the brass bit removed and it's handy for getting stuff to the end of the chassis or round awkward bits.

This is what I have to play with:

There was a fancier nozzle on the extension tube for the aerosol in kit, but it's was too small for this tube.

The short, plated nozzle is for spraying a large area.

For injecting into the chassis or a door you use the translucent tube. The threaded end goes into the gun and there should be a metal or plastic fitting on the other end with holes in the side. It'll give a sideways spray pattern similar to this.

that end I'm showing you is all I have. The other end is the end screwed into the gun.

This is like mine. Came with a short nozzle (shown fitted) which is great for the underside and the tube with the "dispersing" end.

I got two of them, one for the wax and one for underseal. Found unscrewing the dispersing tip from the tube let you reach up behind things, like the fuel tank.
Warm the wax up in a bucket of hot water before spraying, it'll run through better and spread better.

Ooo errr missus!

Looks good though! I rang rejel up around 4pm today and they said they'd pop the nozzle in the post to me today... 1st time they've ever heard of this happening apparently.

Someone day dreaming on the production line perhaps! Can't blame 'em.
