A lot of people like to make sure they go back in the same place this isn't becouse of the valve clearance it's more to do with the wear on each end matching the wear on the lifter and rocker
To be Honist as long as non of them have any bend witch you should be checking for anyway, Or big score marks on the ends then it won't hurt where they go back
Just give a good squirt of oil on both ends when you reassemble and set up the tappits when everything is back together then it will be fine
I have rebuilt loads of engines and never had a problom
