Despite being 15 year old and my daily (fairly high mileage) driver - I've had no major problems, 99 onwards P38s are known to be more reliable - give it 25 years I bet most L322s will have rusted away - there will still be plenty of P38s about.

No, t'internet said 12 to 14. But these days I am mostly thumping up and down the motorway. I really need to test drive a L322 before I chin off the LR brand and switch allegiance. The P38 (or at least mine) doesn't have the best high speed manners.

No doubt once you test you will like ;)

4.4v8 is a good nippy engine but too juicy for me
LPG might be an option.


I like my diesel, happily does 23/24 around town all day then does 28+ on the motorway
Not the nippiest but certainly a good cruiser
 
Ahhhhh feels just like home. I go away doing what I'm paid to do for a few months and come back to the same old arguments /questions. All that changes is the post title and the person asking :lol::lol:
