Morning gents
I have had a rumble from under car for a few weeks now. It only happens when accelerating and stops when you come off the gas but once you get up to 60 ish it's constant. I got under and checked ujs and topped up grease,replaced donut although couldn't get that centre piece out so had to leave old one in oops. None of this has made any difference. Ita a td5 auto and when I go from drive or neutral to reverse there is a slight clink but nothing from reverse to drive. I think it's coming from the front prop carden joint. Can this be repaired or do I have to buy a whole new prop? Any advice appreciated

I believe the general consensus is that your UJs need changing every 100k miles, so if yours are original and they've done over that, then its time to fit new ones. Only use GKN UJs, and ideally get the ones with the grease nipples such as LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2 1998 TO 2004 GKN HEAVY DUTY UJ FRONT PROPSHAFT REPAIR KIT | eBay which includes the bearing in the cardon joint
