What length is it (across the outside of the flanges)?

its as dry as a nuns **** and cant get grease into it.Think that lead to the probs with the diff

I might have sed it before - but sometimes the nipples get blocked - worth removing em and blasting grease thru em off the prop or UJ to ensure yu can get grease thru them.

Right, I got 2 gooduns ear that'll fit.
1. The original one that came off me 90. No play in the splines, just fitted with brand new Hardy Spicer UJs. 30 squids plus post.
2. A nearly new Paddocks one, that was on me 90 for about 2 weeks before I gave up and bought a wide-yoke one. 40 squids plus post.

nipples are fine the grease pumps straight out the sliding joint(which doesnt have a cover-suspicious) so suspect any seals are perished. If the ujs are anything too go by the prop aint seen grease in years.Did for the rear diff.

i seem to remember summat about all pre-cat models are the same but the later ones with cats have a solidd front prop?

As long as the bearing cup holes in the yokes are not worn, why not just replace the U.J.'s
The kit comprises spider, bearing cups and circlips.
