Decided to upgrade my headlights from the old sealed beam units and re=wire them as well. The original bowls aren't worth using again so I decided to go and get some new ones. Got the new ones home and can't work out how they fit together, there's no manual to read or anything. I've attatched some pics and wondered if there's any diagrams about showing the idiot steps of how to put them all together?

In the first picture you've got the bowl, grommet (bottom left) goes between the bowl and wing, chrome retainer top right and fixings.

One of the fixings is a cone shaped jobber that the wires run through into the inner wing.

The two longer screws in the middle of the second picture are for beam adjustment and fit into the bowl at 12 o'clock and nine o'clock

The three small screws and square jobbers are for attaching the chrome bezel to the headlight it should only fit one way

The four screws and jobbers are for fitting the bowl to the wing although when I fitted mine I only used the screws

Thanks for that Marmaduke, that was a great help, think i've worked it out now.
There is one large screw that I assume goes at the bottom of the chrome ring and in to the bowl? Hopefully you can see it in the pic?
Does the pics look right to you?
the only thing is the grommet for the wires to go through are on the top of the bowl, I assumed it would be at the bottom to allow any water out?

As it's mounted vertically it doesn't fill up with water;)

I can't remember where or if I used that large screw but just to double check take another picture from the front of the light.

I only had mine in bits yesterday morning but it's all back together now

Looks pretty good to me, can't tell you about that screw though cos I definitely haven't got one on mine

Fit td5 ones and they are both cheaper and easierto change a bulb

You only have to undo one screw to change the bulb which is the one that holds the ring onto the bowl, twist it slightly clockwise and it comes apart, put new bulb in relocate the ring onto the adjusters and replace the screw
