HIYA

i've got a standard radio cassette to fit my 96 disco. i've diconnected the battery and now it just comes up with SECURITY. i've got the code. i've tried pressing button but the screen does not change and i can't ente the code. any one had the same problem? how do you enter the code? cheers gary

Hello Gary,

If the set is reading SECURITY.......leave the set switched on and the ignition switched on..it can take upto 2 hrs for the set to change back over to reading CODE....if after 2hrs it is not reading CODE..then its locked out and will need unlocking.This link may help.

First what make? Philips or Clarion and does it have a multi CD control as the function of inputting of a security code will be different.
Or post a pic of the headunit.
