Please help if you can,

I have used the search facility, googled and gone through the Haynes manual until I am at the point of dispair!!!!

:mad::mad::mad:

I took the beast (97 disco 1) out for a drive around the moors today. She started fine, and ran well. Gear change was smooth and there were no signs of oncoming transmision failure. I tempted fate by trying all the door locks when I let the dogs in and out - they worked perfectly as well. The lights were fine, electrics were sound and the exhaust is in tip top condition. Although the body work is in condition for the year and mileage I have to say the whole structure held together well. Braking was in good order as was acceleration. There were no clunks, squeals, hisses, pops, farts, funny noises when going around corners or suspect turbo wizzing sounds.

What the hell is wrong? I have never experienced this phenomenon before and am really worried that I have strayed into new territory for a Land Rover owner :(

Please please please, help.

this is a first surely?
thought they came out the factory with faults fitted as standard??

does she not even bleed on the road when parked?

The first thing to do is DO NOT PANIC, :eek::eek::eek: this will be a very short term condition and normal service (problems) will be resumed very shortly;);):p:p:D:D
