Hi All

I have just fitted my 2" lift with pro comp shocks.

couple of questions,

1. why don't you get 2 locking nuts for either end of the shock as you do on the originals?
2. when I fitted the front shocks how tight do you tighten them? the reason i ask this if you tighten the bottom nut you start touching the axle?

Cheers

James

answer 1, cos the kit come's with nylock nut's not standered flat nut's..

answer 2, you tighten as much as is needed to sit the bushs flat and tight without too much distortion to them...which if you have hit the axle then will most likely be very distorted.

I must have been short changed as i have not got nylocs off to the faster company again

if it came with flat nuts (thou mine and a couple of mate's i know got nylocs with the kits)..then why not just reuse one of the old unit's flat nuts to lock off ??

standered nuts are resuseable, nyloc's are not(well not sposed to be :D )
