Guys whats the difference between a Defender 110 and a Defender 110 CSW? I have a 5 door Def 110. A bit confused.

  • Defender 110 is a van (no windows or seats in the back, only the front row of seats)
  • Defender 110 pick up is the same but with a truck cab and open back
  • Defender 110 station wagon has two rows seats (4 side doors) and windows in the rear with additional bench seats
  • The county station wagon is a 'luxury' version of the station wagon, with fantastic extras like *cloth seats* (Oooooh) and *full carpeting* (Aaaaaahhhhh) and *graphics on the side* (Yuk!!)
Most 110 SW's seem to be CSW's, as the non county ones were probably designed fobetter suited for farmers and stuff

If it came out of the factory in 1990 with a 200tdi fitted it's a defender. If it had a 19J 2.5td it's a OneTen. Or a Ninety. Simple really.

I was thinking the other day i have a 110 csw or so i think but why is the top of the roof not white but the same colour as the rest of the landy. Others i have seen have white roofs and it dosnt look like its been resprayed

Not all the landys (be them 90 or 110 guise) had white roofs necessarily as just like any other vehicle there were people who ordered them all in one colour. So its possible the person who ordered yours wanted it all the one colour, it tends to be the van types that have white roofs
