hi guys,
this last week or so,my discovery has gone crazy i have no reverse lights, an air bag light has come on,i have lost the reversing sensors no bleeping, theres an amber light comes on when the hand brake is off and when i park up its red when applied,,i had the handbrake module repaired in may when it was skreaching the street down,,think its playing up again
the fuel cover wont open i have to stick the key behind it to prise it open
apart from that she runs like a tank..i have gone through all the fuses,nothing wrong all ok,can anyone shine a light on these issues they doing my head in
its just one thing after another i love this motor but my nerves are wearing thin now!

Im really really really sorry but I just have to think 'I told you so'

These new fangled land rovers are becoming a reet can of worms.

First option for me is disconnect battery and join both battery cables together. This will zero voltage in car systems and hopefully make it forget it's problems

Can you check the brake light bulbs are working at the back?

yes all on fogs too,i have noticed if i turn all the ignition off then turn it on again i watch through the conservatory widow,i hear a click and the reverse lights come on but go straight back off again,its doing my head in,i have had the back lights off checked all the bulbs put it all together and still the same a click the blink on then off again,no reverse bleeper,and its not going on by the button on the dash either so what ever it is its affected the whole reverse gear i have been tinkering on with it all week but still the same..thanks for the help guys well,anything you throw at me i will try

My old man had similar problems on his Ford Ranger. It was water ingress into the reverse sensors, which Ford did under warranty. It might be worth looking at to rule out.

That wouldn't really explain your other problems though, fuel flap etc. Sounds like some damaged wiring somewhere, either chafffing on the chassis, or damaged from previous work maybe. Worth just getting underneath and having a look.

you have just set me off thinking it was in the garage last week getting yet other problems sorted,they just might of nipped the wiring, im going over
today just to see if they will stick it on the ramp and see if they can put the job right..
thanks again, you set me thinking now..
thats all i do with this motor worry and wonder whats next,she will be a new motor by the time im through with it..
i wont be beat,i will let you know later how i get on
