Hi there
Has any one fitted poly bushes to a td5 and does it make a differens to the ride at the moment my Landy seems to drive ok as you would expect it to the only thing is when you tune off the engine the car shakes this was picked up buy The chap at the MOT station that I went to any ideas

You've opened a can of worms now mate lol... Poly bushes are good but in my opinion give to harder ride for me so it depends what your after... If I was you the first thing Id be looking at would be the engine mounts something isnt right if your whole truck is shaking when you switch off.

My D2 shakes when you turn of the ignition - it's just the engine ceasing to run properly, so it's bound to kick/shake a little, especially with the high compression a diesel has...

poly bushes give quite precise handling due to their lack of compliance and not moving as much as rubber UNTIL THEY START TO WEAR .... but this is only good for a sportscar, not a Landy! IMHO

aren't polys way easier to fit, orig rubber requires a decent press

Yeah they often come in two halves I believe

they often do come in two haves which are very simple to fit and only require a mallet to fit bush and the sleeve , but there are cotton reel types which are terrible to fit , you can get softer poly bushes, poly bushes tend to not last as long but are simple to remove and fit
