Got a pair of 4 tonne hand pullers with decent length of aircraft cable. As I dont go extreme for now plenty good enough for getting to at least a grippy area or back out of a ditch hopefully

I just cant justify the outlay for a winch right now. Maybe get a winchmax with plasma later in the year ready for winter.

I will have outlaid 2000this year on gearbox and conversion already.

I use a champion winch, Extreme 4x4 Ltd CHAMPION/WARRIOR C12000 EWX <br />ELECTRIC WINCH , It hasn't let me down yet...

just spotted that this site is doing winches. they are pretty good for winch bumpers too.

However I did change the solinoed to an Albright one and the rope to a plasma line.

I use a Warn 9.5 xp on the front of my 110. It's given great service for four years now & whilst I don't do a great deal of rough off-roading, I have found the need for it on occassion. It's always worked a treat even when fully loaded. I repalced the steel cable with Dynaline after the first year.
