My P38 2001 4.0 petrol was running really bad.

Changed air filter, MAF sensor plugs and leads (leads were failing).

Its a bit better but not quite right, especially cold and low revs.

I understand that with new plugs and leads there may be some settings to change due to learning history of ECU??

What are they and how do I do this - I have a faultmate extreme.

Select ECU>Petrol EMS>either Bosch Motronic M5.2.1 (Thor) or GEMS (depending on what you have)..Let's assume Thor> Other> then click on "Reset Adaptive Values" tab.

The Ignition needs to be ON (Engine not running)..Just follow the instructions on the screen.
