1995 300 Tdi 3dr

While fitting a set of new speakers in the speaker panel above the rear light cluster access panel, i noticed a connector with 3 black wires in it which is plugged into a blank, mounted on the bodywork. 2 thiner and 1 thicker.

Any ideas what this is for?

Cant get camera in to take a photo...

yup as above black wires are earth wires in a disco.

but the blanking plug doesnt connect to anything?!

could be an earthing point for different spec car so is not connected
