hi every one new to the Landy zone and a virgin landrover owner I've recently bought a landrover 90 pickup 2.5 td 1987 as a small project and have plenty of questions about this not so reliable vehicle

right my first question is my power steering box has packed up and left oil all over. I don't mind drive in it with out power steering but will I cause more harm to other stuff ?

which bit has packed up the pump or the actual steering box?

it's the box it was making quite a bit of noise before it packed up
