hi i have had my dico 300tdi and do not no anything i checked usal boot floor sill etc all rot free it drives great bit floty tho ? but down to the main problem first thing in the morning it starts first turn of key i go work leave it for 8 hour come out and it takes ages to start have to old the gas pedal down be4 it fires up and then i have to rev it abit b4 it ticks over ok it dnt seem to be over heating and dnt think its looseing water all tho the coolent is yellow i have never seen this colour b4 help would be great thanks in advance

what is a complete service on 1 off these i no daft ? lol and have you ever come across yellow coolant ?

oil oil filter fuel filters front and back and coolant...... get it tested then ive never seen yellow **** before

1. Yep, give a good service.

2. I guess the yellow stuff is anti-coolant of some sort. I seem to remember some brand is yellow, can't remember which though. I'd change it if you're not happy with it.

3. Look underneath and see where the leak is. May only be leaking when the engine is up to temp and running.

4. Disable the punctuation filter.

Land Rover antifreeze is yellow it's also greenish in some light, test to coolent to find the mix percentage is ok.
