i'll start off by apologising for this none landy question but thought you guys would still have the knowledge and experience to put me on the right track. my best mate drives a daihatsu fourtrack that when put on hard lock tries to skip sideways (best description i can think of) i've experienced the same sensation with the landy when making hard slow turns with centre difflock engaged, However the fourtrack is not permanent 4 wheel drive and this problem is occuring in 2 wheel drive as well. I jacked one rear wheel up and tried to turn it but it will only go about a quarter turn before the transmission stops it, this was in neutral with 2wd selected. does this sound like a transmission prob as i'd have thought that wheel should turn freely with no more than a little drag from transmission. any advice greatly appreciated.

Now shall I say ask yella or tell you your tranfer box is still stuck in 4wd??
