you need to take the wipers of first lift the ends and then undo the nuts then pull then you need to undo the 5 plastic fasteners the easiest way to do this is to get a very small screw driver and in the centre of each just either screw clock wise or push them down and the they will pull out .then you can collect the centres when you take the scuttle panel off really they are just like a raw plug, hope this helps

As an alternate suggestion, I took mine out by screwing in a self tapping screw and pulling them out with a pair of pliars using a sharp tug. (Think there's 6 in total).
Found it damned difficult to get the wiper arms off the tapered and splined shafts though !
