I've heard differing things on the Pilgrim's way, some say you can drive it, some say you can't and yet more people say you need a permit.

Kent County Council don't seem to be very helpful on this topic, so I was hoping one of you chaps could shed some light on it!

You can drive the whole thing except a small strip above Lenham, although you can get a permit for that stretch but I haven't bothered yet. Some of the connecting lanes are closed over winter but there's a lot of lanes all over the north downs all the way to the coast virtually.
