How much work is involved converting a 90 pick up to a van? Is it just a case of un bolting the panels and replacing? Apologies for this newbie question but I want to start doing jobs myself instead of relying on the local Landy garage all the time.

Unbolt the roof, then the truck cab, then bolt down the van sides and replace the roof..

Really simple. I would imagine if your going to a van then you'd have to put on a rear door with the hinges also.

I swapped my truck cab for a van one in a day.

That was mine driving in as a truck and out as a van and vice versa for the other guy.

Make sure you get all the bits, doing it the way I did meant I got everything and the same for the other chap.

Another question, will any Defender roof fit it like a TDCi or even one of the new Pumas (I have an option to buy one of these)? It's a 1987 90 if that's any help chaps and thanks very much for all of your help and advice.

Yep, They're all the same fitment.

Superb. Sorry to be a pain with all the questions. I have tried googling it but no luck and searched and searched through the projects on here but not had the answers I was looking for. Thanks once again.

Converted my truck cab to a full hard top (fiberglass), took a day, was not hard to do.
Hated it, squeaky leaky piece of ****e, was only on a couple months.
Now shes a soft top, love it.
