I had trouble grasping this,

A .iso file is a CD ROM image. It is used to recreate an entire CD ROM.

If you have cd writing software you can use that to burn a cd from that image file.

hello

yes its an iso file

cheers

Thought so, you can't just copy that as it is to a CD because windows still can't see inside it.

You need to use a programme that will copy it's contents to a CD. I used Roxio media creator which has an option to "Burn CD from disc image file".
If you have Nero or similar CD/DVD copying/writing software see if that will do the same. ;)
