Howdy,

I was having a think last night about permanently installing my nanocom into my Disco, but I don't know where the best place would be.

I was thinking I could maybe remove the coin draw and possibly slot it in there somehow.

Has anyone ever done something similar to this before?

Dont you want to help anybody else with it ... also doesnt seem some good ideea to me cos you'll have to unplug and replug it each time after the ignition was off if you want to keep it on instrument mode ...which might not be too good for it's "health" as well, also if you want to record data you'll have to remove the SD card from it so you'll need it in hand... my overall view on this is that it doesnt worth the hassle

I thought about doing this as well when I bought mine but ended up not bothering, as mentioned above you have to unplug and plug it back in for it to function correctly. Also I can't imagine having it turn on and off with the frequency of a car would do it any good either.

Best solution I think would be to have a dock in place in the car which is in turn plugged into the OBD port, so when ever you need it just slot it in.
