m8 if my mates boat and said engine keeps causing us hassle you might get both lol. head gasket change stud stripped in block. Between time and weather haven't been albe to help but since we stripped it is one thing after another like welding a disco ;)
 
hows it scrap ? Surely helicoil or re tap if the blocks got enough meat on it……….
 
no doubt he put it in too tight or slightly wonky and it stripped it like any other block hole i.e. manifolds and spark plugs etc
 
i haven't my mate got his mate to do head gasket he fook'd it big style. I'm left picking up the pieces, head gasket blew stripped and skimmed replaced only to find one stud stripped in block. think he left water in stud base so it hydro whatever. we are going to helicoil it in week and give it another go. Engine ran great good on fuel loads of power. It comes down to my m8 letting a fitter do a mechanic's job. Really hope i can save this as it keeps said mate sain and gives me some good days out fishhing
