Hi, Another problem with my new disco ii...

The passenger door wont unlock on the eletronic door key or on the door unlock button on the dashboard. it will unlock if I open the handle from the inside. Doesnt seem to be any loose wires any where in the door - any ideas as to what I need to look at /replace?

seems to be the electric actuator...not very cheap thing......unfortunately its a compact bit and u must buy the whole thing even if the locking works...though this one is interesting http://www.landroverforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3375&highlight=actuator

Another quick question please : will the actuator from a disco 1 door fit a disco 2?
There is a disco 1 actuator on ebay at the moment.
