WHY is it thast EVERY fookin time you get "Oh!! you need yer headlights adjusting" ...ITS BOLLOX!!!!

I tried this once .. took my Disco in fer a pre MOT check ...It needed its headlights adjusting ..So WE DID EM!!!

Then took it to a different MOT station & FOOK ME .. they tell me it needs it fookin Headlights adjusting!!!!!


UTTER BOLLOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Any decent MOT garage would tweak the lights whilst they are checking them, takes about a minute a side, less time than writing it down.
It's all a way to make extra money!!.......GREEDY GITS

if the guy doing my mot said headlights where out, i just tell him fix the fecks, if you not happy with them..[easy]
 
My tester said lights were out a couple of tests ago, I said it was physically impossible since the front end of the car hadn't be touched since last MOT, he gave the offending light a swift tap on the lens, rechecked and passed it!
 
I reckon its another fiddle to give yu a fail cert. The local MOT guys are using the phrase "Wipers not working effectively" - how can they tell indoors , just using washer jets. :rolleyes:
 
The guy I always use is at a Peugot dealer, so I can be sure he's not looking for the extra work and I get a fair test. The one time I did use an independent, cause the usual guy was fully booked, I ended up with a huge list of advisories, none of which actually needed any attention to pass the next 3 MOT's!
 
Do not get caught out with MOT centres who just want to fleece you!!! Save your money and your hair, just take your RR to a local government MOT test centre, they will test it without any ulteria motive!!! I have list a few below but just google it for yourself.

I take mine to Lancs Ambulance service in Blackpool ......

I once took the Mrs's MGF to a place in Fleetwood he FAILED it on upper & lower Sus bushes, Exhaust, Emmissions & 3 wheel bearings....

I drove straight out & up to Blackpool Ambulance station & got it re-MOT'ed ... it PASSED with NO advisories......

Contacted VOSA & they sent a "Project" car in ... IT FAILED on LOADS OF THINGS

Unfortunatly for the garage it had just been "Repaired" by VOSA .. & they took the MOT station license away ... (They STILL aint got it back & that was 5 years ago!!!)
 
Many years ago got my Carlton done at Croydon, cos I worked for the Council then - it stalled on the ramp during the emissions test, then wouldn't start again - very red faced I had to help them push it off - they didn't let me forget that for a few years...
