Just a quickie

my front UK drivers side door speakers dont work testing the speakers individually the all function

so it i put it down to either the cross over unit or the amp has gone is (the sound was pretty poor just before the sound went & having looked at all ther connections at both the head unit end and inside the door all are tight)

before i dig into the door again

has anyone the part No`s for these units?

the vehicle is a june 2001 p38
with the OEM high-end Alpine R/Cassette head unit & rear placed CD player

Sorry about the delay in a reply i was ill when you originally sent the reply

Anyways i sourced the problem

Originally I had thought "o crap the door amp"

so I removed the other from the other side and tryed that against the suposed DUD-UN result - still no sound

Having tested the ind speakers with a seperate sound soucse they were all OK

Then i changed outdoor remote (window door speaker unit) still no luck

Then i though maybe its power to the amp and ran a low amp feed to the door amp & hey presto the amp worked - finding a active live in the door i just used blue saddle-connectors to source a new feed to the door amp
havnt looked back and works perfectly
