Hi all.
300tdi 90
Currently taking out the seat box and wanna take park brake off with out having to disconnect at actual drum is it possible to disconnect at hand brake end . Obviously disconnect cable at that end then it looks like you have to prise out a large rubber bung and undo to nuts on the back on the cable? Has anyone do it this way or do you have to take rear prop off ect ect

You can disconnect at the seatbox end yes. Prop has to come off to remove the drum, shoes and backplate.
What are you trying to achieve?

Repairs to the seat box and battery box

Cool.
Slacken off the cable adjuster first. From memory, remove the two bolts and move the hb lever into the cab, makes cable removal/replacement easier.
