The new fashion for speaker cabs is rubberised paint, you can get it on ebay but it's not cheap. It goes on thick with a roller and dries with a rubbery finish. Looks smart and wears very well.

splatter type finish is sooo last year
do you have speakers that you take on the road?

ours get used 3-4 times a week and the paint finish is still good and has lasted us 6 years so I think you can say it works

its these cabs that need recoating just so they look as good as they can

My mate builds speaker cabs. If you ship the cabs up here i can have them done.

Otherwise just throw some callulose paint thru a shultz gun undiluted

We did ours with 'toughcab' water based speaker paint, can be sprayed on but we just rollered it. It's held up well so far on a mix of indoor and outdoor gigs.
