Long story,But...
The P38 has a 2.5 gallon air tank for the EAS.Say for example this will raise the car and lower it fully twice before it runs outta air..
Prob a stupid question,but if replaced with a 5 gallon..Or an additional 2.5 gallon tank is linked into the exsisting tank,,does this give me more lifts and drops before the air runs out? and the pump kicks back in?
Or when the car stops raising and lowering its due to lack of pressure and not air volume?

If that makes sence? Doubting myself here now!

Not an expert so not entirely sure but i think the pump just tops the air up like a normal compressor in a workshop, so a bigger tank would provide more lifts but the pump would have to work harder for the bigger tank???? I think??
Hopefully an expert will help more than i have Sorry, Ian.
