Could be a broken door switch.

I guess that's part of the door lock ?

Yes, it's part of the lock.
I had problems with the FR door (passenger as mine's LHD) and I took the door card off and found the offending pin in the connector. Removed the pin from the connector and it doesn't log as open door anymore. Eventually, I'll get around to fixing/replacing the lock.

Well, its a miracle! Parked up Saturday not used till today. All fixed !
