Hi, me again !!

For whatever reason the previous owner has removed the standard subwoofer from the vehicle. I have found two cables behind the side panel, one with a white multiplug, and one with a black multiplug. Can anyone confirm that they are for the standard fit sub please ??

If I decide to buy a used sub, I presume I will need the amp module as well ??

Yeh, sorry should have said:doh:

November 1999 4.6 HSE (thor engine)

Harmon Kardon speakers, Alpine head unit fitted, not standard Land Rover unit

a 1999 should have an Alpine unit in them.

I stand corrected. I assumed the speakers were Harmon Kardon as every one I have seen seems to have them.

Are the two connectors mentioned for the sub ?

White multiplug is for the sub amp on the side of the woofer. Square Black multiplug is for the cd changer - again this should be an Alpine 6 disc unit. The sub could either be a Harmon kardon or substitute. I have had a few thor cars around this age, same spec but have varied with the sub.
