Which relay is for the glowplugs and which for fuel pump on a 99 P38 diesel

The pump relay is indicated on the underside of the fuse box lid.

Relay 12 and fuse 39 to be precise. For the fuel pump must still find one for Glowplugs. Anyone know why the P38 had different inlet minifolds. Had 3 1999 jeeps and 2 had Alu ones and 1 had a plastic one
No idea what the jeeps had but the early p38 aluminium manifold was a none EGR valve and the later plastic manifold had an EGR valve.

Glow plug relay is in the ECU box behind the battery.

No idea what the jeeps had but the early p38 aluminium manifold was a none EGR valve and the later plastic manifold had an EGR valve.
Switched over around 1997. I think they also moved the studs on the head around.

Not quite sure about that as my 1 99 model had plastic. The other 99 had alu and my 00 had alu

The alloy manifold was never fitted to 99 or 00 model years so if yours had alloy, it's likely the heads had been replaced at some time with heads from an earlier year after head failure.
