hi guys i own p38 4.6hse which has couple of niggly issues

1,today i have gone out in the car and hvac display and radio are both dead radio code light comes on as usual but nothing else. both were fine yesterday when i washed the car.

2,every so often i get eas fault doesnt effect driving just no suspension only happens about every 2 weeks

any help would be greatly appreciated guys

Hi Kieran1266,

Item1 is this the only electrical fault?
Lighter sockets working etc.?

Item2 no suspension

Do you get lights on the switches?
Can you hear the pump working?

fred thanks for reply just checked and lighter is not working either also heater controls are not working forgot to mention suspension lights come on but car drive fine i have been told its called a soft fault??

Have you got the RAVE manual with eletrical faults checks ?

Hi

I had the same problem not so long ago.. Check that nothing has fallen down into the cigerrette lighter hole like a 1p or something.

I had a penny drop down there and shorted it out that took out all of what you said.. Obviously the fuse had gone and it wasnt until I replaced it, and it blew again I found the problem.

Just a thought
