Since I got my P38 DSE it has only been blowing hot air out even when I change the temperature down to low. I seem to be able to sometimes get the left handside to go cooler but right hand side is always hot. I read somewhere that this might just be the airflow not mixing correctly so could be a servo? Any tips or hints would be appreciated, I had a thought that to check the servo I might want to pass a current through it to see if it was dud or not.

Thanks

Just type in blend motors in search box at top of page, should keep you busy reading for a while.

As KDS said, blend motors failed, common fault:eek:

I've had the instrument panel out and got to the servos, however opening them both up all the gears look good with no signs of wear. If I disconnect the connector to the three servos and apply a 12v supply this should be a good test to see if they are working or not right? I want to try and rule out a faulty HVAC unit. I did notice with engine running and watching the top servo trying to move the big white cog but only about 5mm.

Cheers
