hi all can any one help , i bought a hi level brake light for my p38 its an o.e one , i took down the panel and found the lead it plugs into and the blanks that need to be removed but to make it dead right i obviously need the mounting bracket or whatever it screws to then once thats done there must be a panel of some description to gain access to the lamp from inside the car , does anybody have an exploded parts diagram or something similar to enable me to see what i am missing thanks.

I would be interested as well as mine does not have the High level light fitted.
It is good news that the wires are already there.
Rick if you don't mind me asking what sort of light did you buy and does it fill the hole correctly ?

hiya jim the lamp i bought came in landrover packaging , its an oblong lamp with the correct plug on the end to plug into the existing wiring already in the tailgate , although when i checked this i found when i checked for a feed when the brake pedal was pressed there was nothing , so maybe the other end needs to be plugged in , i dont know yet , as for mounting the lamp its not possible as yet i can only assume that there are a couple of moulding required to enable me to do this , when i get my head around it i shall let you know mate .
