look for advice ive bought a p38 with in the last 2 weeks when driving down road the drivers side front suspension just drops down to bump stop.
the other 3 stay up for a about 10 - 15 mins then drop down too.
any ideas please

Sounds like a leaky airbag and possibly compressor. Have a search on this site and rangerovers.net for air suspension issues - there is a LOT of information about this topic.

You've got a failed airbag. Best advice is stop using your RR until you fix it, but I suspect your compressor is on the way out too. On the plus you can fix that with an hour or so and a refurb kit.

The springs on the other hand you'll want to replace at minimum the front two but ideally all four as they are only good for 7 to 8 years. 4x Arnott GenII can be had for circa £250. About an afternoon of your time will have you back on the road.

Airbag issues are common on P38's, if you search on here you will discover a mountain of information on the issues. I have similar issues on my P38 but the rear doesn't inflate. Good luck and let us know the result.

+1 and I can supply the cable and diagnostics if you find you need to clear faults on the EAS:)

If you have a leak (which you do) no doubt the poor compressor will be knackered out as for however long it has been trying to keep up with the leak and will be getting tired out by now!

+1
The reason the other 3 drop after 10-15mins is cos the thermal cut out is cutting in because the pump is overheating
NOT GOOD
