Hi all,
Help once again please. When starting my P38 from cold, she idles a little roughly and causes a rumbling / vibration that reverberates throughout the cabin, when she is revved up a little, it disappears. Any idea? Can the ide be adjusted to remove this low end resonance?

Help appreciated.

Should jump to 1100-1200 RPM at start up from cold then settle back to 750 RPM. Could be engine mounts, could be resonance damper on front of crank.

Duff glowplugs so it's only firing on 3 cylinders to start?

Hi guys, thanks for your input, I have ordered new glow plugs and inlet manifold gaskets. I have also stripped down the intake side and cleaned the egr, was full of gunk. I will order a new damper. Don't suppose anyone has a part number and price for the also, any ideas where to get these compressor rubbers? Willing to try the relatively cheap fixes before te garage as my local garage is £50 per hour. Thanks again.

Mounts look ok, no cracking and look in good shape, starts as described. And when going runs ok but with a little flutter however I think this s a leaking down pipe, full new exhaust on order.
