Started up the p38 diesel this morn drove off ok after about 10 mins whilst driving slowly along it just cut out.
managed to start it up again after about 30 seconds of turning it over,drove off again 5 mins later cut out again,anyway got to the point now were after good 30 sec's of turning over fires up (just add that glow plug icon is coming on every time I need to re start)but as soon as I put into drive rev's drop and it cuts out.
No message's are coming up,any idea's?

Fuel filter, in tank pump or maybe the under bonnet fuse box, check for signs/smells of burning

fuel starvation you think,is there just the main one in engine bay to worry about?

I believe there is a mesh filter on the in tank pump, could be you have bacterial growth in the tank, common problem with diesels especially in boats, always a good idea to keep the tank full. Look at the fuel filter, if there is any trace of black slime, it's bacterial growth, you can get a chemical treatment for it.

drained filter ,checked a few pipes ,took a while to bleed it up again,few false starts then
whoosh running like a dream .
Just in time had to tow start my mates car .
