I have coolant coming from the air con drain above the auto box.

Obviously the bitch is running hot as well, but is this the heater matrix blown or "just" the heater O rings. my carpets appear dry?:Cry:

Are you sure it is coolant and not green dye leaking from the air conditioning evaporator?

O rings usually leak onto the carpet, if it IS coolant then it could well be the heater matrix

I had flushed the coolant system and refilled with water while i obtained a new thermostat so its clear HOT water coming out of the right hand drain.

Its a 1995 4.0 and had been off the road for at least 2 years.

"HOT" water or "WARM" Water ?????....... the air con drain is supposed to "Drip" its the moisture out of the air in the cabin that has condensed out to liquid & is "Draining" onto the floor...

the Engine cooling system is completely seperate from the air con system .... the Engine cooling system is filled with water/anti freeze, the Air Con system is filled with GAS under pressure.

I assume you have "installed" Anti freeze.....to test if you do have a leak .. dip yer finger in the "Drips" & taste it on the tip of yer tongue ....if it tastes of "Nothing" its just Condesation from the warm Cabin air .. if it tastes "Sweet" then its Coolant from the engine & you've got a "Job" on yer hands!!!

Right I have sorted this.... It is the air con drain total false alarm....

:dizzy: Feel abit of a chump now.

And so you should. Had packed my tool box and booked into an hotel local to you for a week to come and help you. Can you please send a cheque for £500.00 to cover what i have spent?

I bigged it up because the water got hot from running off the gear box.. I was expecting the worse and convinced myself:drama:

Now go & sit on the NAUGHTY STEP & repeat 100 times " I must listen to what Claw told me" (Even though it was 2 MONTHS AGO!!!!)

The amount of times I've had some ditherin old Pensioner honk his horn at me at traffic lights & say .. "cuse me Yer leakin water from yer engine"

IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!
