Do you have one of these ?

I have a Tom Tom which I need to update from time to time.

Do you do this with the RR and how ?

Will I be able to enter Post Codes and have similar facilities to the Tom Tom, Hospitals, Petrol/Gas stations etc. ?

I have been looking at a P38 2000 (X) and it has one in it, but dont want to be swayed by thinking it's the same and then finding out oits old hat.

the sat nav in a p38 is basic, you can get updated cd's for them off ebay. But they only really update the mapping, it does have a sort of post code thing, but only lets you enter the first 4or 5 digits.
I tend to stick to the tom tom on my phone

I thought that the RR SatNav would possibly 1990 technology so would not be as advanced.

I don't want to buy a car with a SatNav and find out it's useless and end up using the TomTom instead.
