My mate bought an ally rad off the bay, cannot remember the site off the top of my head but it mentioned racing in its name. was Chinese I think, very good quality.v

Just checked, GPI racing, £85 for a 2.5 diesel ATM.

Got my intercooler welded today as well, 30€
I did look at an all alloy unit but after a few youtube vids, i got a bit worried about having it turn up in france and being a pile aluminium spatter and tat!!!
So went for a known and recommended make instead.

The one I saw was good quality, as an ex coded aluminium welder I can only say what I saw.unless they send all the sh1te to France

Probably not all the rads are duff, just didn't fancy the grief and extra time wasted either sending one back and waiting for a refund or replacement. I would have preferred one though.
