Baterry voltage good? Check for bad earths under the fuse box, battery connections etc. Trapped wires where the radio has been messed with.
Low battery voltage or bad earths.connections can cause all sorts of havoc.

Windows not set etc is just a result of the battery being disconnected at some point and the windows haven't been reset - procedure will be in the RAVE file you have downloaded!

Hi saint. Yes i down loaded the RAVE. I didnt know that you had to reset. yes the battery has been disconnected, Am going to have to day off it, It is really doing my head in. :Cry:I will have a read and find out how i reset etc. all i have done is put the key code in to be able to start the engine. Thanx again.

RAC turned up outside my house last night fixing a motor. so i nipped out and asked him if he has a diganostic to check my car,he asked" has it a plug for it to plug into" ERM YES.I asked him if he had the codes. " no" what a dip stick. Still no farther with the R/R the weather is against me.:wtf:

Sorry i didnt come back earlier,The car is up and running, all dash lights etc ok.The car is fine now. all the faults with the dash fuse 22 failure,windows c/locking was sorted with the diagnostic, The guy said all this should have reset it self when i put the battery back on. But for some reason it didnt, so thats sorted.As for the box put fuse 11 in then took it out had a play & bingo it`s sorted.God knows why it worked cos i had every fuse out & put it back. so,for sake of an hr`s work at the garage who does nothing but breath & sleep landys & range rovers and only £42 bill, we was over the moon.Car as been running fine for 3 weeks now. Might just let him do the heater plugs as its taking a little longer to crack up when cold.
