Can't believe you are that old Wammers, just think you might have another 40 years if you are 60 and the lastest figures life expectancy figures are right. Think of all the tax you will be able to pay towards MP's expenses

Anyone who has actually worked for a living is not included. The government want to eventually raise retirement age to 68. Their theory being that all the manual workers dying off at 66 will help pay for the shiney arses to live long and prosper.

I quit the UK in 99/00 so stopped work sort of, but 2 clients won't let go. I have been getting my state pension for a couple of years. Still happily renovating my French ruin, if I'm lucky I might live long enough to finish it
